A Geriatric Clinical Residency is a unique opportunity for you to develop skills and take courses in a mentored environment, to significantly advance your provision of geriatric PT.  The currently credentialed residency programs in geriatric physical therapy are:

• St. Catherine's Rehabilitation Hospital Residency in Geriatric Physical Therapy
• University of Delaware Clinical Residency
• Freedom Home Health and Ohio State University Geriatric Residency
• Jewish Home for the Elderly Clinical Residency
• NHC Geriatric Clinical Residency Program
• Fox Rehabilitation Physical Therapy Post-Graduate Residency Training Program in Geriatrics

Grant Available to Clinical Residency or Fellowship Programs from the Section on Geriatrics

• The Section on Geriatrics is proud to support Clinical Residency or Fellowship Programs as they work through APTA’s credentialing process.

• The Section will fund up to five applications per year, up to $1000.00 each.

• Grant monies will be awarded on a “first come, first serve” basis, with an annual grant application deadline of December 31st. Grant applicants must be a Section on Geriatrics member.
